We use only what breathes, ages well, and held a story before us. Four fabrics make up most of what we ship.
Linen
From flax fields, mostly woven in mills near Erode. Cools you in summer, holds shape gently, wrinkles like it should. Gets better the more you wear it.
Mulmul
The lightest cotton woven in India — fine, almost weightless, with a slight translucence. Mulmul is woven by hand in pockets of West Bengal and Andhra. We use it for slips, tier maxis, and summer pieces.
Khadi
Hand-spun and hand-woven cotton, the cloth that built modern India. We use khadi for our wrap dresses and drawstring sets — the slubbed, textural surface that softens over years.
Silk-cotton blend
For pieces that need drape — our bias maxis, slips. The silk gives the fall, the cotton keeps it grounded and washable.
